The Founder and Director of IAM Ministries, a psychologist and theologian, is looking for someone both well educated, literate, accurate and technologically savvy and, in this non-salaried position, interested in the rewards that come with service in a spiritually oriented, wellness community.
The Director wants to use the mass of information stored in her computer and in her mind to communicate via email, website and social networks, but the needs and opportunities far outweigh her skills and capacities. So she will provide the framework for each communication, and the PA will research existing sources to compile and organize the information ready for joint review, prior to publication by the PA. The intern must already be proficient in, or very confident to quickly and independently learn to effectively use and problem-solve in a Mac environment these applications/services: Entourage (including mailing list management), You Tube, Blogger, Facebook, Plaxo and Linked In.
This work provides the opportunity to learn by diffusion about the operation of a non-profit organization and its communication with its rapidly growing community, all in a stunningly beautiful location. Hours and schedules can be adapted to accommodate the work load and the availabilities of the intern and the Director.
